Backlink
The reverse side of a wikilink.
If entity A has a wikilink that references entity B, then B automatically shows a backlink from A. Backlinks are created automatically — the user does not create them manually.
Where backlinks appear
In the page view of the referenced entity. If you open entity B and A has linked to B, you will see A listed in B’s backlinks section.
What backlinks tell you
Which entities mention this one. Backlinks give you a web of references without you having to maintain that web manually.
